Acta Thermographica was started by Prof. Pistolesi in Verona, Italy, in 1976 and provided a number of fundamental studies on temperature and its relation to disease. It was the organ of the European Association of Thermography, the Club Français de Telethermographie Clinique, and the Japan Society of Biomedical Thermography.
The journal discontinued for financial reasons in 1981. Copyright was released by Professor Pistolesi. The material is now open access and published here in full - with the exception of Volume 4, which has been lost in the mist of time.
